“Being realistic is the most traveled road to mediocrity”
I know you have had a moment in your life when the bell goes off!
- You find that dollar in the couch you lost 5 years ago;
- You get that like from a crush you didn’t even know followed you;
- You receive some advice that changes your whole way of thinking;
- Or you realize that the person you are is NOT who you want to be…and you need to change.
What would you do if you had the opportunity to share what exact movie, quote, event or action sparked that change?
Even better question, what would your story do for the person that needs the boost, resource, or energy now?
Presentation I delivered this summer to middle school and high school students. The overall topic is leadership and accountability.
Have you ever heard the saying Reach for the stars, so if you fall you land on the cloud?

Every time I hear that saying I rolled my eyes. If I reached for a million dollar in my pocket I wouldn’t fall on 1,000 dollars.
On June 11th, 2013 my personal best running distance was 4.4 miles
On November 17th, 2013 I ran 26.9 miles in 3 hours and 42 minutes

The richest place in the world is the grave- Unknown
So many ideas, opportunities, gifts, and talents are often wasted because people never use their talents and they take it to the grave with them.
You are put on this earth for a reason.
The easiest way to find that reason is to share your story.
