Michael is proud Graduate of North Carolina A&T State University with a degree in business administration. He continued his schooling at Atlanta Institute of music. After taking private lessons he was able to share the stage with some of Atlanta’s great musicians and also some gospel icons (Tasha Cobbs, William Murphy, Bishop Paul Morton, Jasper Williams). He was hired as the drummer for “Phive” a hip hop band based out of Greensboro NC. During his time with Phive we able to accomplish: Red Bull Sound Stage Artist , Over 65 Placements on Net Work Television (MTV, VH1, Oxygen Ect.), Selected by Coca-Cola and Spotify to be one of the worlds 52 emerging bands in the world (52 Songs Of Happiness Global Campaign, Write up In Billboard Magazine) , Corporate Tour Sponsored by Xbox, Share the Stage with Outasight, Juicy J, Mike Jones and Many more. Since then I have had the pleasure of playing/touring for Anoop Desi (American Idoal Finalist), Rissi Palmer (National Recording Country Artist/first African American Female to Chart on the Country Billboard Charts), Dom Flemons (Grammy Award winning artist). He is currently endorsed by TRX Cymbals and have been so for the past 4 years.
