A woman on a mission is what she is, and as an East Point, GA native Ariel knew exactly what it meant to work hard and give it her all. After completing college in three and a half years and working on her MBA at North Carolina A&T State University, Ariel found herself working jobs that weren’t touching her heart. Determined to be a “good employee” Ariel stuck with it, until one day her manager came in and told her , “I’m sorry but we have to let you go”. Instead of looking at it as a curse, Ariel instead took this opportunity to invest in herself and her business, therefore creating “The Scholarship Coaches”.

Embarrassed but not broken, Ariel began brainstorming what she did best so she could become her own boss. After a few days of thinking, she thought back to what she loved doing for free and made it a business. She began to coach others on how to completely fund their education using grants and scholarships and without using loans. The first day that Ariel launched her new business she managed to attract a client and from there things were history.

Ariel knows all about scholarships. She funded her entire undergraduate and graduate career with the use of grants, scholarships, and awards. After receiving over $500,000 worth of scholarships and over 25 awards she knows what the scholarship committee is looking for. Ariel is determined to provide each and every student who crosses her path the opportunity to graduate debt-free.
